CLINIC SCHEDULE and SPEAKERS -

Grade 8 report directly to lecture hall, just south of gym.
Grade 7, 6, 5, and grade 8's upgrading to 7, report to the track.
See below for directions.

No upgrade for 7 (referee) to 6 (state referee). This requires two day clinic June and November, somewhere in greater L.A. or Orange County, TBD.  See www.californiareferee.org.

Grade 8 referees will attend youth-refereeing-oriented review from 7:30 to 9:00 in the Mark Friedman.  Mark has been mentoring youth referees in the area for more than 15 years.  At the same time, all other referees will run the physical fitness testing on the track.  There will be place to change clothes, but no shower.

Next, everyone will take the grade-appropriate written test (BRING A NUMBER 2 PENCIL AND GOOD ERASURE, test is machine graded).

The test will be followed by a talk by Alex Mariscal.  Alex has just fast-tracked his way to National Referee grade, and just returned from refereeing an international youth tournament in Ireland.  The morning session will wrap up with review of written test.  Grade 8 referees will receive their clinic attendance forms and are excused for the day, although more than welcome to stay for the afternoon session.

After the lunch break, there will be further advanced instruction by George Noujaim, one of the top speakers in Cal-South, who will be touching on some of the points-of-emphasis that USSF is stressing this year and were presented at National Camp.
